They say movies are in a bad realm these day. Again, not sure who they are but they say it. Fortunately for us, the couch potatoes of the world, television is on an incredible upswing. Thanks to cable and streaming services even the networks have had to up their game.
Because more and more TV is switching from episodic to serial form, which only go ten to thirteen deep in a season, a lot of the extraneous fluff has gone by the wayside. It also makes binge-watching more palatable because you need to know what happens next. Very few of the tired episodic network dramas have to chutzpah of the new wave. Continue reading →
Superhero, sci-fi and fantasy shows are the flavor of our time and I couldn’t be happier. Arrow, The Flash, Game of Thrones, Orphan Black and Agents of Shield—just to name a few—are all impressive or at least fun to watch, programs.

There is a relatively new and already overused catch phrase these days called binge-watching. Though, I and countless others have been known to have done this for a long while now.
It’s hip to binge-watch TV shows and god forbid anyone in this day and age having to wait a week – a whole seven days to catch the next installment of their favorite, or probably their roommate’s favorite, show.
In this time of impatience, TV watchers have missed actual good shows because of the drivel most watch known as REALITY TV (which really isn’t reality but that’s for a later date.) You know who you are!
